Sub-lieutenant Jan Filip Prenan from the French Armed Forces Visited the Strategic Research Institute

On September 18, 2009 SubLt. Jan Filip Prenan from the French Armed Forces was introduced to SRI representatives by the French Defense Attaché Col. Pascal Hart. SubLt. Jan Filip Prenan will be working on his graduate thesis at SRI until December 4, 2009. SubLt. Prenan was introduced to SRI Director Lt. General Milan Zaric, M.Sc., heads of departments Col. Katarina Strbac, PhD., Mrs. Jovanka Sranovic, PhD. and Mr. Milan Terzic, PhD., as well as to Dmitar Tasic, M.Sc. While working on his thesis entitled “French-Serbian Connections during the Period from King Petar to King Aleksandar,” SubLt’s Prenan mentor will be Dmitar Tasic, M.Sc., researcher of the Military History Department (who studies Serbian history through the end of the World War II). French Defense Attaché Col. Pascal Hart emphasized that “the young French SubLt’s work at SRI will certainly strengthen and improve French-Serbian relations.”
