The British Ministry of Defense’s Delegation Visited the SRI

Mr. George Balentine, Assistant to the Head of the Military cooperation and combating proliferation Department, Mrs. Lidia Mans, the British MoD’s officer for Serbia, and Colonel Nigel Fenn, Defence Attaché, visited the SRI on May 19, 2009. They were welcomed by Lt. General Milan Zaric, M.Sc., the SRI Director, and Col. Katarina Srbac, PhD., Head of the SRI Strategic analysis and security integrations department. Recent cooperation between the SRI and British Defense Academy and possible widening of that cooperation were discussed during the visit. The main issue was organization of the course entitled “Managing Defense in the Wider Security Context” that will take place in November 2009. That will be the second event organized by the SRI, Cranfield University and the British Defense Academy.
