The Book of Abstracts “Military Thought, War Experience and Literature,” published by the Institute for Strategic Research, presents an overview of the papers delivered at the scientific conference of the same title, held on 30 May 2025 in Belgrade, at the amphitheatre of the School of National Defence “Vojvoda Radomir Putnik”.  The conference was jointly organised by the Strategic Research Institute  of the University of Defence and the Institute for Literature and Art. It was dedicated to the study of the development of Serbian military thought and the influence of war experience on national literature in the period from 1850 to 1939.
 
The editors of the volume are Dr Svetlana Šeatović and Dr Dragan Stanar. The papers published in this volume are based on presentations delivered by researchers from the Institute for Strategic Research and the Institute for Literature and Art, as well as faculty members of the Military Academy, the Rectorate of the University of Defence, and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade.
