Biography:
Colonel Dr. Dejan Vuletić has been employed at the Strategic Research Institute since 2006. He graduated from the Military Secondary School (telecommunications) in 1991 and the Military Academy (telecommunications) in 1995. After graduating from the Military Academy, he performed various duties in telecommunications units. He defended his master's thesis "Information warfare in contemporary conflict" in 2005 and his doctoral dissertation "Cybercrime and the possibility of its detection" in 2009 at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade. He participated, as a manager or team member, in the implementation of several scientific research projects. He is a member of the team of the current scientific research project "Military profession in Serbia in the modern security environment", which is being implemented at the Strategic Research Institute in the period 2024-2026. He has been appointed as a mentor in the preparation of the final papers of participants of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, Command Staff Course and cadets at the Military Academy. He taught as a lecturer for many years at the Military Academy on the subjects "Computer Systems Protection" and "Electronic Business". Colonel Dejan Vuletić, Ph.D has been hired as a professor by invitation to teach at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade in the area of study "Use of the Internet for Criminal-Political Purposes" in the Masters’ academic studies. He is a reviewer of articles in the field of information security for the journals International Problems, National Security Policy, Sociological Review, Political Review, Review of International Affairs, Temida, Vojno delo and Security. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal nternational Problems.
