The Proceedings Abstract Book “Assumptions for the Optimal Application of the Total Defence Concept in the Republic of Serbia”, published by the Strategic Research Institute and the Institute of International Politics and Economics, provides an overview of the presentations delivered at the scientific conference of the same title, held on March 19, 2026, in Belgrade. The conference was organised within the framework of the research project of the same name, implemented by the Strategic Research Institute during the period 2026–2027.

The editors of the volume are Veljko Blagojević, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International Politics and Economics, and Prof. Dr Dragan Stanar, Director of the Strategic Research Institute. The publication includes 21 papers authored by contributors from the Strategic Research Institute, the Institute of International Politics and Economics, the Institute for Political Studies, the Institute for European Studies, the Faculty of Political Sciences of University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Security Studies of University of Belgrade, the Directorate for Strategic Planning of the Defence Policy Sector od MoD, the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, and the Military Academy of the University of Defence.
