The monograph The Great Game: Sino-American Relations and Their Reflections addresses a key issue in contemporary international relations: the strategic rivalry between the United States and China and its impact on the transformation of the global order. It focuses on the Indo-Pacific as the central arena of their political, economic, technological, and military competition. The monograph examines the strategic interests and approaches of the two powers, the role of other significant regional actors, security arrangements, and the economic and technological dimensions of the rivalry. It considers possible trajectories of Sino-American relations and the conditions under which prolonged strategic competition may remain controlled or escalate into open confrontation.
